In the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, agreements on the development of tourism infrastructure were signed between the Turizm.RF corporation and the regions of the Central, Siberian and Far Eastern districts.

Nine more regions of Russia have joined the work on the national project “Tourism and the hospitality industry”: Altai, Trans-Baikal and Kamchatka Territories, Kemerovo, Kursk, Pskov, Samara and Ulyanovsk Regions, as well as the Chuvash Republic.

“Today we are taking another significant step towards achieving national goals. Joint work with the regions allows us to create high-quality and affordable travel services for our citizens, opens up new travel directions for them. And most importantly, it meets both economic and social objectives. In 27 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, 50 tourism infrastructure projects will be implemented in the near future. We will create about 30 thousand new hotel rooms. Infrastructure development will give us an increase in tourist traffic by 9.4 million people in total in these regions. The projects will create an additional 20 thousand new jobs in different parts of our country, ”Dmitry Chernyshenko stressed.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that the tourism industry has a multiplier effect and provides great growth potential for local businesses.

To realize this potential, the state provides for the support of private investors, opportunities for co-financing projects are included in the investment program of the “Tourism.RF” corporation. Sergey Sukhanov, General Director of Turizm.RF, spoke about the work on it: “The formation of the priority investment program for 2021–2022 is coming to an end. We considered 385 investment proposals, of which 50 were selected the most promising, for most of them positive investment conclusions have already been received. And this is just the beginning of our joint work. It is necessary to analyze the tourist areas, form the concept of their development, carry out the design, start construction and complete it on time. “

With the participation of the corporation, the Sheregesh complex in the Kemerovo Region will become more comfortable and more accessible, and the Altai Foothills tourism cluster will be created in the Altai Territory. In the Kursk region, a tourist cluster will be formed on the basis of the well-known memorial complex “Kursk Battle”. Changes await tourists in Transbaikalia: the construction of tourist projects of the medical tourist complex “Darasun”, the Ivano-Arakhleysky cluster and the autotourist cluster “Agin Buryat Okrug” are to be built. In the Samara region, the corporation and the regional government intend to develop the territories of Samarskaya Luka and Sokolya Gory, and in Ulyanovsk, the long-awaited start of construction of tourist and recreational clusters Ivanovsky Bay, Geopark Undoria, construction of a landscaped embankment is ahead.

The Governor of the Kemerovo Region Sergei Tsivilev believes that joint work with the corporation “Tourism.RF” will give a new impetus to the development of tourist clusters in Kuzbass. “In the future, the result of our common work will be the development of the sports and tourist complex“ Sheregesh ”. It will be more comfortable and more accessible for tourists, including Kuzbass residents. But it is especially important to note that these joint projects will bring additional jobs to the region, and a new social infrastructure will appear for people. In general, the development of the resort will lead to an increase in the standard of living in Kuzbass, ”said Sergei Tsivilev.

In the Altai Territory, the Tourism.RF corporation will participate in the development of the Altai Foothills tourism cluster. The governor of the region, Viktor Tomenko, intends to increase the tourist and excursion flow to 1 million people by 2030. “It is planned to create about 1,000 new jobs in the industry by 2030 and to increase the annual tourist and excursion flow in this territory almost twice – to 1 million people,” said Viktor Tomenko. – And at the moment, the main areas of cooperation will be the development of master plans for the development of the most popular tourist areas of the region, the creation of supporting infrastructure and attracting investors. Already today, the government of the Altai Territory has formed a portfolio of 11 investment projects for a total amount of more than 40 billion rubles of private investment. “

In the Kursk region, tourist clusters will be created on the basis of the Kursk Battle memorial complex and the regional cultural heritage site The Water Mill Building. Commenting on the signed agreement, the Governor of the Kursk Region Roman Starovoit noted that the long-term partnership between the region and the corporation will make a significant contribution to the development of the tourism infrastructure and hospitality industry in the Kursk Region: we will be able to increase the availability and quality of the provided tourist services ”.

The agreement signed by the general director of the corporation Sergey Sukhanov with the government of the Trans-Baikal Territory will serve the development of tourist projects of the Darasun medical tourist complex, the Ivano-Arakhleysky cluster and the Aginsky Buryat autotourism cluster.

The interest of tourists in the Pskov region is steadily growing, and a joint work with Turizm.RF will begin on the Spiritual Origins tourist area.
