In units and formations of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) in Kamchatka, a storm warning was announced, the personnel are ready to resist the elements.

Back-up power supplies and life support have been tested at all military facilities. Aviation flights, transitions of ships and submarines have been adjusted taking into account actual and predicted weather conditions. The crews of ships and vessels of the emergency rescue detachment of the joint command of troops and forces in the North-East of Russia are on high alert for carrying out rescue measures. The servicemen of the garrisons are ready to clear the snow blockages of highways, access roads to military towns, pier zones, airfields and training grounds.

The road groups of the Kamchatka subdivision of the military administration of the road infrastructure of the Eastern Military District are on readiness to eliminate the consequences of the disaster in the areas of the villages of Radygino, Anglichanka and Zavoiko.

With the weakening of the cyclone, work will begin to clear the berths of ships and submarines in the cities of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Vilyuchinsk. More than 20 units of heavy engineering and special equipment have been prepared to carry out the work.

In the units of troops and forces in the North-East and in the submarine forces of the Pacific Fleet, the situation is monitored around the clock, groups have been formed to promptly respond to possible changes in the situation, they are well-coordinated with other power structures, as well as the administration of the Kamchatka Territory.
