To date, over 2,000 servicemen, civilian personnel and their families have been vaccinated at Branch No. 3 of the Pacific Fleet’s Naval Clinical Hospital in Vilyuchinsk.

The planned revaccination, which has already covered more than 30 percent of the submariners’ personnel, is primarily carried out by the crew members of nuclear submarine cruisers.

Revaccination is carried out with a Russian-made vaccine “Gam-COVID-Vac” for the prevention of coronavirus infection. The drug is delivered to Kamchatka by military transport aircraft and through the naval clinical hospital of the Pacific Fleet is issued in parts in special thermal containers for mass use.

In the units, brigades of military doctors have been formed, which have undergone special training in the vaccination of military personnel.
