In the military towns of Dushanbe and Bokhtar of the 201st Russian military base stationed in Tajikistan, the heating season for barracks and housing facilities and public utilities has begun.

To ensure the full operation of the boiler houses of the base during the winter period, it is planned to consume about 1.5 thousand tons of solid fuel. The necessary supply of coal has been created at the fuel storages near the boiler.

Since the beginning of September, in the course of preparation for the heating season, the specialists of the heating system of the base have carried out preventive work on the inspection and maintenance of heating mains. Works on flushing heating systems, revision and pressure testing of heating units, as well as repair and maintenance work on boiler equipment were carried out. To ensure the operation of facilities throughout the winter period, emergency repair teams on duty have been organized.

The 201st military base stationed in Tajikistan is Russia’s largest military facility outside its borders. Located in two cities – Dushanbe and Bokhtar. It includes motorized rifle, tank, artillery, reconnaissance units, air defense units, NBC protection, communications, as well as logistics.
