Cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School (DVOKU) conducted a training session to destroy low-flying air targets imitating conventional enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.

Before conducting combat firing, the cadets complied with the standards for equipping ammunition in belts and loading them into the guns of combat vehicles.

So, during the training itself, the DVOKU cadets as part of the crews of the BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles conducted live firing from standard automatic 30 mm guns at low-flying maneuvering targets imitating the UAV of a conventional enemy. The execution of the tasks was complicated by the shooting at night with practically zero visibility.

In modern combat conditions, unmanned aerial vehicles and methods of dealing with them are becoming increasingly important, therefore the aim of the training is to improve the training of personnel and the coherence of the crews of combat vehicles when repelling air attacks.
