More than 3 thousand servicemen of the Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces) underwent training at 242 training centers (training junior specialists of the Airborne Forces) in 2021.

In just a year, the training center trained more than 2.6 thousand junior specialists from among the military personnel doing military service by conscription, and about 700 military personnel doing military service under contract from all formations and military units of the Airborne Forces underwent additional training.

All servicemen were trained in the military specialties “driver-mechanic” and “gunner-operator” of BMD-2, BMD-4M airborne assault vehicles, and contract sergeants undergoing additional training at the training center in the military specialty “squad leader – combat vehicle commander” on BMD-4M.

In addition, part of the conscript personnel underwent training in the specialty “communications specialist”.

Based on the results of passing the final exams, the class qualification “Grade 3” was awarded to about 2.3 thousand cadets from among the conscripts, and the total number exceeds the number of personnel who passed the class qualifications in previous editions, which indicates an increase in the quality of training of cadets and methodological skills of the teaching staff of the training center.

More than 1.3 thousand conscripts will arrive at the training center for the draft campaign this fall, who in the spring of 2022, after passing the final exams, will also replenish the formations and military units of the Airborne Forces.
