The Republic of Crimea will receive more than 352 million rubles in compensation to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses who suffered losses due to floods in the summer of 2021. This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Federal funding will support over 540 entrepreneurs. At the expense of these funds, they will be able to carry out major repairs in damaged premises and partially compensate for rental costs.

In June, an emergency regime was introduced in Crimea due to heavy rains. As a result of the flooding, people lost their homes, damaged roads, educational and medical institutions, and caused damage to business representatives and farmers.

Earlier, the Government has already provided financial assistance to the republic, which took the blow of the elements. So, in August, funding was allocated for the restoration of roads damaged as a result of the emergency, and in September – for work to restore the capacity of the rivers in Yalta and Bakhchisarai.

Then, in September, for payments to Crimeans who lost their homes due to floods, the federal center sent almost 400 million rubles… Also almost 400 million rubles in October received the children’s center “Artek” to restore infrastructure damaged by floods.

In addition, in October, funding was received from the reserve fund to reimburse the regional budget, aimed at providing one-time financial assistance, as well as payments in connection with partial or complete loss of property. Almost 4 thousand people.

In October, federal funds were also sent for overhaul of schoolswhose buildings were damaged due to the disaster, and in November – for compensation for damage agricultural producers and medical organizations.
