Reverse train traffic is planned to be launched by the end of the year on the Belorusskaya – Savelovskaya MCD-1 section, reported v Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of Moscow.

The organization of traffic along the same track in both directions will allow starting the reconstruction of the section between Begovaya and Savelovskaya stations for the launch of MCD-4 “Kievsko-Gorkovsky”.

“Now, together with Russian Railways, we are working on the terms of the“ reverse ”. The task is to carry out the work as quickly as possible, ”the message says.

The length of the reconstructed section is about five kilometers. During the operation of the “reverse”, two additional main tracks will be built here, comprehensive infrastructure development will be carried out and 3.8 kilometers of noise protection screens will be erected. It is also planned to start the reconstruction of Begovaya and Belorusskaya stations.

The reconstructed site is located in the center of the capital, therefore the work is complicated by a large number of communications and structures.
