Servicemen and members of their families, military retirees, as well as civilian personnel of formations and military units of the Western Military District (ZVO) are being revaccinated against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19.

Military personnel who have previously received a full course of vaccination, but have low levels of antibodies to the disease, are allowed to revaccination.

Revaccination with the domestic two-component drug “Gam-Covid-Vak” (“Sputnik V”) is carried out on a voluntary basis with personal written consent. Before the introduction of the vaccine, military doctors inform all patients about contraindications and recommendations related to the reintroduction of the first and second components.

Also, before the injection, medical specialists conduct an explanatory conversation, explain the rules of behavior after the injection of the drug. At the end of the revaccination, each patient is issued a certificate of the established form.

All military personnel and civilian specialists of the Western Military District were vaccinated. About 1.5 thousand people are revaccinated in the military district per day. In total, more than 150 thousand people were revaccinated with the first component and about 115 thousand people with the second.
