Order of November 19, 2021 No. 3261-r

Over 4.8 billion rubles will be additionally allocated from the reserve fund for the purchase of drugs for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection who are being treated in hospitals. This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

We are talking about the purchase of at least 50 thousand packs of regdanvimab, at least 9 thousand packs of bamlanivimab + etesevimab and at least 3 thousand packs of kasirivimab + imdevimab. The list of purchases also includes at least 1,614 packs of sotrovimab and at least 25,131 packs of remdesivir.

The centralized procurement of drugs will be handled by the Federal Center for Planning and Organizing Drug Supply for Citizens, subordinate to the Ministry of Health of Russia. It is planned that all medicines will be delivered to medical institutions by the end of 2021.

The Ministry of Health, in turn, was instructed to monitor the efficiency of spending federal funds and submit a report on this to the Government by July 1, 2022.
