The 35th Trampoline World Championship has ended in Baku (Azerbaijan).

Competitions were held in three disciplines: jumping on a trampoline, an acrobatic track and a double mini-tramp. The tournament was attended by about 270 gymnasts from 33 countries of the world. The Russian national team was represented by 27 athletes.

A private CSKA sports company (Sevastopol), master of sports of international class Alexander Lisitsyn, performed jumps on an acrobatic track and brought three gold medals from the World Championships at once: in individual, team and team events.

In the individual championship with a score of 80 points, the soldier bypassed Mikhail Malkin from Azerbaijan (76.3), who won silver, and Kaden Brown from the United States (75.4), who rose to the third step of the podium.

In the team event, Alexander Lisitsyn, Alexey Svetlishnikov and Vadim Afanasyev were ahead of the national teams of Great Britain and Denmark.

In total, the Russian national team scored 29 points. The second place was taken by the Americans (28), the third – by the British (26).

In the medal standings, the Russian team won first place (five gold, one silver and three bronze medals). The second place went to the representatives of China (two gold, two silver medals), the third place was taken by British athletes (two gold, one silver and two bronze medals).

In addition to gold medals, Alexander Lisitsyn has another achievement at the World Championship in Baku. He set the world record for total points in tumbling jumping.
