Today, residents of the capital have access to more than 380 useful digital services and services.

On the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line of the Moscow metro, a train began to run, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the provision in Moscow electronic government services… The first online service – obtaining a work permit for a taxi – appeared in the city in 2011. And now more than 380 useful digital services and services help residents in their daily affairs.

“Moscow was the first in Russia to provide government services online. Since 2011, electronic services in the capital have been used more than two billion times. Today, 14.4 million people are registered on the city portal. With its help, you can make an appointment with a doctor, pay utility bills, apply for a business subsidy. Now Muscovites have another convenient way to get acquainted with the whole range of digital services and services – on a thematic train on the way to work, study or a meeting, “- said

Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

The digital ecosystem of the capital is constantly evolving. Extra visits to institutions, receipt and transfer of paper certificates are no longer required: now it is enough to make a few clicks on the website or in the application. Last year alone, Muscovites did not have to request over 70 million documents. Electronic services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and earlier a person could spend several days collecting the necessary certificates and getting to all the necessary offices. If in 2011 the townspeople used electronic services and services only 57 thousand times, then by the end of 2020 this figure exceeded 400 million.

Work on the design of the theme train was carried out jointly with the Mosfilm and Lenfilm film studios. Scenes from favorite Russian films were taken as a basis, catch phrases and dialogues from which will tell you how Moscow’s digital capabilities can be useful in typical life situations. The images of movie characters were processed by a neural network: the algorithm made them clearer and more detailed, improving the quality so that it became suitable for printing and exposure.

The screens of the carriages broadcast videos about the digital ecosystem of the capital. Thus, citizens will learn how technology can help reduce water consumption and improve the performance of Moscow libraries.

“It has already become a good tradition for us to launch theme trains dedicated to important events. Today we are launching a train for the 10th anniversary of Moscow electronic services. Thanks to the portal, residents of the capital have the opportunity to receive online government services and services in all major spheres of life, including transport. Passengers of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line will be able to learn more about public services and digital opportunities available to Muscovites – the train will run here for six months, ”explained the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport

Maxim Liksutov.

If someone is interested in a particular service or service, he can use them right on the way. For this, more than 50 QR codes are placed in the carriages, each of which leads to the corresponding pages of the portal.… For example, from the train it is possible to pay for housing and communal services, book books in the library, top up a Troika card, and even make a targeted donation to charity in a special service. And in order to receive services even more conveniently, passengers are invited to download city mobile applications.

The cars of the jubilee train also contain information about the capital’s online projects “Active Citizen”, “Electronic House”, “Our City” and “City of Ideas”. With their help, residents can offer ideas and participate in the life of their home, yard, district and all of Moscow.
