At the 31st training ground of the Western Military District (ZVO), it is planned to build 72 buildings and structures from block-modular structures. In 2022, delivery of 46 sets and 466 units of landfill equipment is expected.

“In the coming academic year, we will continue to work on raising the achieved level of training of troops (forces) of the district and increasing the planned indicators of combat readiness, introducing new methods and methods of training personnel, improving the training and material base,” said General Major Vladimir Zolotukhin.

In 2021, as part of the construction of modular structures, a command post for a training tactical field was built at the training ground of the Mulino Combat Use Center. In addition, 13 block-modular structures built at the Pravdinsky landfills in the Kaliningrad region and Krinitsa in the Voronezh region were actively used.

This year, more than 825 structures, obstacles and shelters have been equipped, which is one and a half times more than in 2020. The same quantitative growth – one and a half times – has been achieved in equipping the facilities of the command, class and company training facilities.

“The tasks for the large formations, formations and units of the Western Military District are set ambitious, there is everything you need to reach the designated lines,” added the head of the combat training department of the Western Military District.
