Servicemen of the long-range aviation unit stationed in the Amur Region transferred over 3 tons of liquefied oxygen to the Blagoveshchensk City Clinical Hospital. This decision was made by the commander-in-chief of the Aerospace Forces at the request from the Ministry of Health of the Amur Region.

Liquefied oxygen is produced by automobile oxygen production stations. They are used to obtain in the field from atmospheric air liquid and gaseous oxygen of medical quality. This gas is used in the on-board systems of aviation complexes, as well as in the oxygen system of the aircraft, which serves to maintain the normal life of the crew, including when flying at high altitudes and during ejection.

The aviation units stationed in the zone of responsibility of the Eastern Military District (VVO) are planning to continue to provide assistance to the regions. The provision of oxygen to medical institutions is carried out without prejudice to the combat readiness of formations and military units.
