More than 400 patients recovered from COVID-19 were discharged from specialized hospitals in the Tula region, where doctors from the Russian Defense Ministry work.

Specialists from the military medical organizations of the Western, Southern and Eastern military districts, the Northern Fleet, the Strategic Missile Forces and the Airborne Forces continue to provide assistance to local residents of the Tula region in the fight against coronavirus infection.

Military specialists work in the admission and triage department, hospital, infectious diseases, sanitary and epidemiological departments, as well as in the department of anesthesiology and intensive care, laboratories for PCR diagnostics and research of other analyzes and samples.

In total, in November, doctors received about 500 local residents of the Tula region who became ill with coronavirus infection.

More than 100 specialists of the military medical service have been involved in providing assistance. Military doctors have at their disposal artificial ventilation devices, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, blood analyzers and other medical equipment necessary for the treatment of a wide range of pathologies.

Reception of patients is carried out in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological rules.
