The construction is planned to be completed in 2023.

Three residential buildings for the participants of the renovation program will be built in the Nizhny Novgorod region. They will be located in the 80th block between Novokhokhlovskaya Street and the Third Transport Ring. The buildings are scheduled to be commissioned in 2023. This was announced by the head of the capital Construction Department Rafik Zagrutdinov.

“At present, the installation of monolithic structures has been completed, work is underway on the installation of facades and the laying of engineering networks,” he said.

The buildings will be connected to each other by a common underground part. The facades of the buildings will be faced with concrete brick-like tiles and galvanized steel cassettes, complementing the design with stained glass on the ground floors.

In total, there will be 1,028 apartments with improved finishing (281 one-room, 514 two-room, 212 three-room and 21 four-room). 16 of them will be equipped for residents with limited mobility: they will increase the width of the corridors and install special plumbing.

Entrances to buildings, floors of lobbies and elevator halls on the first floors will be made at the same level with the ground. This will allow residents with wheelchairs and people with limited mobility to enter the entrance without assistance.

The lobbies of the residential area will include areas for storing strollers, concierge rooms, storage rooms for cleaning equipment and mailboxes. The premises of the first floors will remain non-residential – shops, cafes, beauty salons, sports clubs, circles and sections for children can be opened here.

The buildings form a semi-enclosed courtyard with places for games, sports and recreation. Trees and shrubs will be planted in the local area, flower beds and lawns will be laid out.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. About a million Muscovites will be able to move to new apartments. For construction selected 533 launch pads
