Servicemen from the reconnaissance units of the Southern Military District (YuVO) performed parachute jumps at night.

The scouts made a landing in the rear of the mock enemy as part of reconnaissance groups with parachutes of the D-10 system. The personnel landed in the indicated area and complied with the collection standards at the designated point, making a march with full combat gear to the area of one of the peaks of the Caucasian ridge.

A feature of passing the standards was the conduct of aimed fire in the air at a conditional enemy with landing on a limited area.

In the course of the training, the actions of the reconnaissance group were worked out with a sudden introduction. The servicemen made parachute jumps to unfamiliar terrain, determined the coordinates of their location on the map, made a 10-kilometer march and destroyed a simulated enemy using knife fighting skills.

In the indicated area, the scouts found an illegal armed formation of a conditional enemy and eliminated him. Night landing, covert movement, as well as the effect of surprise allowed the servicemen to successfully complete the assigned task.

The scouts performed training and combat jumps from a Mi-8MTSh helicopter on landing parachutes from heights of 600 to 2 thousand meters with full service weapons and equipment and with a delay in the opening of the canopy.
