Launched today at 4 hours 9 minutes (Moscow time) from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region, the Soyuz-2.1B medium-class launch vehicle at the appointed time successfully launched a spacecraft into orbit in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The spacecraft was adopted for control of ground assets of the space forces of the Aerospace Forces.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1B carrier rocket and the launch of the spacecraft into orbit took place in the normal mode.

A stable telemetric connection has been established and maintained with the device, its on-board systems are functioning normally.

After being taken over for control, the spacecraft was assigned the serial number “Cosmos-2552”.

More than 70 combat crews were involved in ensuring the launch of the launch vehicle, as well as over 40 spacecraft control systems, systems and complexes for collecting, processing and displaying telemetric information from formations and military units of the 15th Army of the Aerospace Special Forces.
