Specialists have eliminated local damage to the roadway surface and leaks in the under-stage spaces.

Specialists of the municipal economy complex carried out current repairs on 21 bridges. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Peter Biryukov

“Special attention is paid to the maintenance of bridge structures, their condition is constantly monitored,” the deputy mayor emphasized. “Over the past 10 years, each such facility has undergone various types of repairs, which made it possible to extend their service life and create more comfortable conditions for the movement of drivers and pedestrians.”

In total, more than 110 thousand square meters of waterproofing and asphalt concrete pavement have been updated this year. Work took place at Dorogobuzhsky, Luzhnetsky, Matrossky and Khimkinsky bridges, Luzhnetskaya, Leningradskaya, Savelovskaya, Velozavodskaya and Zvenigorodskaya overpasses, in the North-West and Novoalekseevsky tunnels.

Specialists have eliminated individual damage to the roadway surface and leaks in the under-trestle spaces. The head of the municipal economy complex noted that the new waterproofing allows to increase the service life of the facilities and increase the wear resistance of the concrete base.

In addition, on the eve of winter, the repair of expansion joints on 46 bridges, including Berezhkovsky, Astakhovsky and Ochakovsky, was completed.
