At Uralvagonzavod, Deputy Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Krivoruchko inspected the production of T-14 Armata and T-90M Proryv tanks and held a meeting on the development of armored weapons and equipment of the Ground Forces.

At a meeting of the Acting Chief of the 47th Military Representation, Major Dmitry Repin said that by the end of the year it is planned to supply the troops with about 20 T-14 Armata tanks. In addition, more than 60 T-90M Proryv tanks will be delivered by the end of the year.

“According to the terms of the state contract, serial delivery of products to the troops is carried out before the end of state tests. Now the production of an experimental-industrial batch is underway until the end of state tests in order to gain experience in military operation, ”said Major Dmitry Repin.

T-14 “Armata” is a new generation tank with an uninhabited turret, its crew is housed in an armored capsule in the center of the hull.

The T-90M “Breakthrough” is the latest version of the T-72 / T-90 line with a new turret, fire control system and reactive armor. Compared to the T-90A, this modification has its booked volume increased, which made it possible to install an additional device.
