In the Black Sea Fleet (BSF), more than 12.5 thousand servicemen were revaccinated against a new coronavirus infection (NKVI), who had previously received a full course of vaccination before April 1, 2021.

Revaccination is carried out according to the schedule in accordance with the time periods established for the prevention of NKVI.

Vaccine prophylaxis in the fleet is carried out with the domestic drug “Gam-COVID-Vak” (“Sputnik V”) on a voluntary basis and after signing an agreement for the introduction of the components of the drug.

In addition, from the airfields of the Black Sea Fleet and the Southern Military District, liquid oxygen continues to be transferred to medical institutions in Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea, treating patients from the consequences of coronavirus infection.

In total, about 40 tons of oxygen have been transferred to medical institutions in the region from the storage facilities of military airfields located in the Crimea since the end of October this year.
