Members of the All-Russian children’s and youth military-patriotic public movement “Yunarmiya” in the Kursk region are carrying out measures to improve the monuments to the soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War as part of the patriotic action “Watch of Memory”.

During the weekly action, the Yunarmeys first of all carried out cleaning near the memorial stones, plaques and signs, memorial complexes, steles and monuments of the Great Patriotic War of the city of Kursk and Medvenk district. On the territory of the monuments most in need of maintenance, young men and women re-painted the fences, and also replaced the paving slabs and curbs.

Members of the Yunarmiya movement, together with the heads of departments of the Kursk region, regularly take patronage not only over the monuments of the Great Patriotic War, but also other objects of historical heritage.

About 100 members of the All-Russian children and youth military-patriotic public movement “Yunarmiya” took part in the patriotic action.
