On the territory of the former industrial zone “Hammer and Sickle” will create almost one and a half thousand jobs. The draft decision on the integrated development of the site is already ready, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.
“The area of the site of the former industrial zone subject to integrated development is 3.1 hectares. 60 thousand square meters of commercial real estate will be built here. The investor will invest more than 5.5 billion rubles in the implementation of the project, and the annual revenues to the city budget will amount to 490 million rubles. The reorganization of the territory will give the city almost 1,500 jobs, ”he said.
The future industrial quarter will be located near the intersection of Aviamotornaya and 5th Kabelnaya streets. Nowadays, there are warehouses, offices, a car service and a taxi company on this territory. After the reorganization, the entire site will be occupied by public and business buildings. Shops, banks, cafes and restaurants may appear here.

The comprehensive development of the territories of the former industrial zones of the capital within the framework of the Industrial Quarters project will create about 500 thousand jobs and bring almost three trillion rubles of budget revenues. The total investment will amount to over seven trillion rubles.
The Industrial Quarters project allows you to give a second life to unused, virtually abandoned urban areas. The first contract within the framework of this project was concluded in July 2020 for the comprehensive development of the territory in the Oktyabrskoye Pole production zone with an area of 5.92 hectares. Investments in the development of the industrial zone will amount to about 14 billion rubles, the budget effect – about 1.8 billion rubles. The project is scheduled for six years, but the investor plans to complete the construction by 2024.
At the beginning of November 2020, the country’s first auction for the right to conclude an agreement for the integrated development of territories was held in Moscow, within the framework of which part of the Korovino industrial zone in the north of the capital will be reorganized. In early June, two more agreements were signed on the integrated development of the Kuntsevo territory and the second section of the Korovino industrial zone. In September of this year, the fifth agreement was signed – on the reorganization of the Altufevskoe Shosse industrial zone.
