Over the past day, the VGSCh department of the EMERCOM of Russia carried out work on pumping water from the mine workings and monitoring the gas atmosphere, as well as supplying gaseous nitrogen and freon to the worked-out lava space.

At the moment, the gas atmosphere in the mine is stabilized, but does not yet allow exploration. Yesterday, a technical meeting was held with the participation of the National Airmobile Mine Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the VostNII Scientific Center for Safety in the Mining Industry (JSC NTs VostNII), during which decisions were made to develop measures that will create a safe gas atmosphere in the mine.

In addition, three wells are being drilled. Wells completed by 80%. Additionally, it is planned to drill three more wells. At the moment, the drilling site is being prepared. The work is carried out around the clock.
