The snow cyclone that hit the Primorsky Territory did not affect the combat readiness of the coastal units and ship formations of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) stationed in the region. Based on the weather conditions, storm preparedness was announced in advance by the forces of the fleet and is in effect.

On the eve, preparations were made at the bases of the ships of the fleet for the deterioration of the hydrometeorological situation. Additional mooring lines were introduced and the watch duty was strengthened, the ships were sealed, and the property was secured in a storm-like manner. Damage control assets, rescue forces and support vessels have been tested and ready for action. A number of naval aviation airfields operate with restrictions.

The Pacific Fleet servicemen are ready to immediately eliminate the consequences of a snow cyclone, and, if necessary, to provide assistance to the population, including clearing roads, cutting fallen trees and evacuating vehicles from the snow captivity.

In military units, autonomous power supplies have been prepared in case of a power outage.

At the headquarters of the Pacific Fleet, the situation is monitored around the clock, groups have been formed to promptly respond to possible changes in the situation, interaction with the regional Ministry of Emergencies and other departments has been established.
