In the Serpukhov branch of the Military Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces (Strategic Missile Forces) named after Peter the Great (Moscow Region), a tactical exercise is being held with the deployment of the Topol mobile ground-based missile system (PGRK) to field positions.

In the course of the exercise, the cadets will acquire practical skills in managing subunits when they perform various tasks and will practice the questions of independent work on equipment and weapons. As part of the combat crews of the Topol PGRK, graduates in practice carry out combat training tasks in field positions.

For the first time, during the exercise with cadets, unmanned aerial vehicles, which are part of the Typhoon-M anti-sabotage combat vehicle, are used for reconnaissance of combat patrol routes and detection of sabotage groups of a simulated enemy, for engineering and chemical reconnaissance.

In the exercise, future missile officers carry out the tasks of organizing the protection of the convoy along the route of movement by units, deploying training units in the field position and camouflaging them.

During the exercise, special attention was paid to the issues of counteraction to conditional sabotage and reconnaissance groups and the performance of tasks in a difficult situation.

In addition, the exercise provides for the convoy to cross sections of conventionally contaminated terrain with subsequent special processing of equipment, including the Topol launchers. Consolidated subdivisions of radiation, chemical and biological protection will cordon off the zone of conditional radioactive contamination, disinfect the area and roads.

The calculations of the Topol PGRK will work out many tasks and introductory, including technical ones.
