The experience gained by the peacekeeping brigade of the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District for a year in Nagorno-Karabakh will be mastered by all military units and formations of the army in the new academic year, which started on December 1. “Our peacekeeping brigade, which was promptly deployed to Nagorno-Karabakh in November 2020, gained tremendous experience in a year. This is not only the fight against drones, but also the practice of using completely new reconnaissance means, including electronic ones, an unprecedented experience in the operational transfer of large forces and assets over long distances using military transport aircraft. And not only. We have already introduced this advanced experience into combat training and this academic year servicemen of all military units and formations of the army will study it, ”A. Kolotovkin said.

The 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army is the largest military formation in the Volga Federal District, and is part of the Central Military District. It includes motorized rifle, artillery, anti-aircraft military units and formations, including a missile brigade equipped with Iskander-M OTRK, and the only peacekeeping motorized rifle brigade in Russia, as well as units of engineering troops, RCB protection, logistical units provision.
