Since the beginning of the renovation program, 167 houses have been built in the capital.
More than 45 thousand people have moved to new apartments as part of the renovation program. This was stated by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy Andrey Bochkarev…
“At the moment, relocation under the renovation program has been organized for 58 thousand of its participants. Of these, 45.5 thousand Muscovites have already received the keys to new apartments. Relocation is being carried out in 137 new buildings out of more than 370 old houses, ”the deputy mayor said.
Since the beginning of the renovation program, 167 houses have been erected in the capital – this is 2.1 million square meters of housing. Another 5.5 million “squares” of living space are being designed or built.
Andrei Bochkarev emphasized that this year alone, a million square meters of housing have been built and more than 60 houses have been handed over for occupancy. Also, launch sites have been selected for the construction of another 1.1 million square meters of housing. Since the beginning of the year, 75 new buildings have been commissioned.
“These areas are enough to provide new housing for more than 35 thousand people,” the deputy mayor added.
The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It includes 5175 houses. Next year, they plan to build about one and a half million square meters of housing.
