Operations carried out with the help of arthroscopic equipment make it possible to shorten the period of inpatient treatment and begin early postoperative rehabilitation.
Arthroscopic stands were purchased for 24 Moscow hospitals under life cycle contracts (LCC). This equipment is essential for joint surgery. This was reported by Sergei Sobyanin on your page in Twitter…
46 arthroscopic stands of the new generation have already begun to arrive at the disposal of doctors. These devices are required by specialists to provide high-quality imaging during diagnostics and surgical interventions on joints through mini-incisions.
“We have completed the procurement of arthroscopic stands with high quality optics for 24 metropolitan hospitals. The racks allow you to insert the optics into the joint through a mini-incision and transmit the enlarged image in real time without distortion to a monitor installed next to the operating table. Such high-precision diagnostics is carried out when all available non-invasive methods have already been used: CT, MRI, X-ray and ultrasound examinations. Operations carried out with the help of new arthroscopic equipment make it possible to shorten the period of inpatient treatment and begin early postoperative rehabilitation, which improves the quality of life of patients, “said Irina Rybalchenko, General Director of the State Autonomous Institution” Gormedtekhnika “
New arthroscopic stands will help in the treatment of both common and complex injuries, as well as purulent-septic arthrosis. Doctors of the city clinical hospitals named after S.S. Yudin, named after S.P. Botkin, named after V.P. Demikhov and named after M.P. Konchalovsky, as well as city clinical hospitals No. 13 and No. 67 named after L.А. Vorokhobova are already using the equipment in their work and note its advantages.
“We got the opportunity not only to look inside the joint, but also to see everything down to the smallest detail. With this equipment, doctors have moved to a new high-precision level of diagnostics. Every year, almost four thousand patients with a profile of purulent surgery are operated on in our hospital, and the use of new equipment will significantly improve the quality of diagnostics and treatment for a large category of patients, “said the chief physician of the city clinical hospital No. 13, Sergei Arakelov.
Arthroscopy performed in time can often delay or even exclude joint replacement. Reconstructive plastic surgery on joints using the arthroscopy method is performed in city hospitals free of charge for Moscow residents.
The procurement of medical equipment under life cycle contracts has been carried out in the city since 2019. Under the terms of such contracts, the supplier ensures the operability of medical equipment throughout its entire service life. Thanks to this, the equipment can be used without interruptions for repairs or maintenance, which significantly increases the availability and quality of medical care for patients.
“Life cycle contracts allow us to attract qualified performers, including well-known world manufacturers, to the supply and maintenance of medical equipment. The long-term nature of the life cycle provides an optimal ratio of price and quality of the purchased equipment, makes it possible to predictably distribute budgetary funds. The mechanism turned out to be in wide demand: in less than two years, more than 100 contracts were signed with suppliers for the amount of about 82 billion rubles;
In total, under life cycle contracts for hospitals and clinics, it is planned to purchase more than 5.5 thousand units of various equipment and deliver it to medical institutions by the end of 2023.
