About 120 thousand military personnel, civilian personnel of formations, military units and institutions of the Central Military District (CVD) and organizations of central subordination of the Russian Ministry of Defense deployed in the regions of the Urals, Siberia and the Volga region, as well as military bases in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, have undergone revaccination against coronavirus. This was announced by the head of the medical service of the Central Military District, Colonel Vsevolod Kaminsky.

“Since July 1 of this year, about 120 thousand military personnel, civilian personnel of formations and military units of the military district, as well as members of their families, have been revaccinated. Re-immunization was carried out on the basis of medical institutions of military units and branches of the district clinical military hospital. Vaccinations and revaccinations have reduced the incidence by half, ”said Colonel Vsevolod Kaminsky.

The Central Military District is deployed on the territory of the Volga, Ural and Siberian federal districts and 29 constituent entities of Russia. The district structurally includes several foreign objects: Russian military bases on the territory of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as units on the territory of Kazakhstan.
