The Moscow Aircraft Repair Plant DOSAAF became a participant in the national project “Labor Productivity”. The aircraft repair company was founded in 1939 and specializes in overhaul, maintenance, modernization and refurbishment of An-2 aircraft, Mi-2, Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters.

The national project “Labor Productivity” has been implemented throughout the country since 2018 and ensures the formation of a new production culture. Now more than 3000 enterprises from 70 regions of the country are participating in it. Experts from a specially created organization – the Federal Center of Competence in the field of labor productivity and a network of regional centers of competence deployed in the regions – go to enterprises and help set up the production process and train employees using the lean manufacturing methodology. Targeted support is provided directly at the enterprise, where individual solutions are created to increase labor productivity by eliminating all types of losses. For six months, experts of the national project from the Federal Center of Competence will analyze the work processes at the MARZ plant and optimize them.

“We strive to increase labor productivity, expand the market, reduce lead times and establish a reference flow in production. But it is quite difficult to cope with this task ourselves, therefore this program is relevant for us and will help us to realize the potential that we have ”, – noted the general director of the plant Pavel Nenastiev.

In total, the program will last 3 years. The goal is to increase revenue and labor productivity. The project also provides for other support measures for the enterprise, such as training for managers, professional retraining of employees, soft loans, tax preferences and subsidies.
