Servicemen of the Russian unified military base in Kyrgyzstan and members of their families took part in the procession of the cross on the day of memory of the holy right-believing Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky.

Before the procession, representatives of the Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan dioceses, headed by the Dean of the Central Deanery, Archpriest Andrei Borisenko, held a divine liturgy in the military church in honor of Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky. During the service, a congratulatory speech was read from Bishop of Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan Daniel on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the birth of the blessed prince.
