The largest exhibition of Peterfood products was traditionally held in St. Petersburg from November 16-18 and celebrated its 30th anniversary!
Despite the closed borders, the geography of the participants turned out to be very wide. The exhibition brought together novelties from more than 10 countries, incl. Japan, Hungary, Tunisia, Algeria, Italy, Sri Lanka, etc.
In 2021, over 7,000 new products and delicacies were presented at the exhibition: exotic dried fruits, wines, meat delicacies, oriental sweets, oils, tea and much more. Among the most exciting and unusual novelties: beaver pate, maral meat, honey water and new alcoholic drinks. 110 retail chains renewed their assortment at the exhibition. New products will hit the shelves next year.
For foreign and regional manufacturers, the exhibition organized a cycle of open seminars “Days of Food Trade”, at which more than 20 experts in the field of procurement and sales spoke about trends in the consumption of fmcg goods in 2022, ways to compete for a buyer, and the rules for working with regional retail , secrets of the production of high-demand goods.
An important event in the business program was the launch of a new educational business platform – the Supplier Graduate School – the only School that provides direct access to the network.
The international exhibition “PETERFOOD” is a promising platform for launching new projects and establishing successful international cooperation.
With the assistance of the Oryol Regional Export Support Center, the Oryol Region was presented with an individual exposition, where the manufacturer of rusks and rams worked – Limited Liability Company. International cooperation and export “.
For several years now, the Oryol manufacturer has been demonstrating to potential partners from near and far abroad their favorite rusks and donuts of their own production, but every time they surprise with delicious new products. The manufacturer had a busy working day: negotiations on the supply of products with 250+ buyers of retail chains and HoReCa; useful seminars and master classes from experts in the field of retail; as well as communication with potential partners.
At the stand of the region, exhibitors proudly talked about the production cycle, shared the secrets of making “Funny cat” cookies, and conducted a tasting of a new product line. The regional enterprise managed to get acquainted with partners from Mongolia, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Algeria.
Participation in international exhibitions allows domestic manufacturers to get acquainted with potential partners with the aim of mutually beneficial cooperation, expand the geography of export supplies, and learn about trends around the world.
