More than 14 thousand servicemen of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) were revaccinated against a new coronavirus infection (NKVI).

Revaccination of servicemen and members of their families, as well as civilian personnel of organizations of the Russian Ministry of Defense is carried out according to the schedule in accordance with the time periods established for the prevention of NKVI.

Vaccination is carried out on the basis of the branches of the Naval Clinical Hospital and medical units in the formations and military units of the fleet.

Vaccine prophylaxis in the fleet is carried out with the domestic drug “Gam-COVID-Vak” (“Sputnik V”) on a voluntary basis and after signing an agreement for the introduction of the components of the drug.

In addition, the transfer of liquefied oxygen from the airfields of the Black Sea Fleet and the Southern Military District continues to medical institutions in Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea that treat patients from the consequences of coronavirus infection.

In total, since the end of October this year, about 50 tons of liquefied oxygen have been transferred to medical institutions.
