At the Adanak training ground in Dagestan, the calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Caspian Flotilla (UFL) have begun to work out combat training tasks in preparation for the Falconry-2022 competition.

During the field trip, the crews of the UAVs “Orlan-10” and “Eleron-3” improve their professional skills and craftsmanship. The servicemen fulfill the standards for the deployment of complexes and the launch of aircraft, work out the search for stationary and mobile objects in the established square of the terrain, and then transmit the coordinates of the target to the control point. Also, UAV specialists learn to interact with artillery units and adjust artillery fire. In the course of practical actions, the calculations of the drones must determine the deviation of the projectiles from the target and issue corrections to the command and observation posts of the batteries and divisions.

In addition, UAV operators train skills, skill and craftsmanship while performing a drone landing for accuracy. Aircraft must be landed in a strictly defined area within the designated boundaries, preventing it from leaving the landing site. In addition, servicemen fulfill the standards for fire, physical and topographic training.

In total, about 150 military personnel of UAV KFl units take part in field exercises, more than 20 units of special and military equipment are involved.
