The crew of the newest small missile ship (MRK) “Cyclone” in the Black Sea Fleet’s maritime range has successfully tested artillery systems with firing as part of state tests of the ship before its inclusion in the combat composition of the Black Sea Fleet.

On going to sea, the ship’s crew, together with the manufacturer’s commissioning team, fired from artillery mounts in the normal mode, as well as at maximum angles of rotation and ascent at sea, coastal and air targets.

In the course of the firing, the adjustment and coordination of the equipment of the in-ship weapons control systems was also carried out.

The “Cyclone” missile system of the “Karakurt” project is armed with a universal missile system with “Caliber” missiles, an AK-176MA artillery mount, an “Pantsir-M” anti-aircraft missile system, and large-caliber machine-gun mounts. The cruising range of the ship is 2500 miles, the autonomy is 15 days.
