From December 11 to 18, the capital hosted a student week “Mosprom studweek”. During this time, over 50 excursions to Moscow enterprises were conducted for more than a thousand students of the capital’s technical universities. Among the enterprises ready to take on students as trainees or employees are the cable manufacturer Moskabelmet, the developer of Mikron microchips, the NAMI automotive institute, Roscosmos State Corporation, the Shcherbinsky elevator building plant, the Moskovsky agricultural holding and others.

23 teams competed in the hackathon – 115 people from seven universities in the capital. The participants created a mobile application for contactless elevator control, an information system for assessing the conformity of the design characteristics of cable and wire products, developed a new scenario for the use of RFID radio frequency marking in the social sphere and solved other applied problems.
The special economic zone Technopolis Moscow and the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia became the venues for the competition.
In addition, during the week of the week, 20 metropolitan factories conducted over 50 excursions. Among them are manufacturers of microelectronics, optics, jewelry, confectionery and sausages. Four excursions were joined by the author of the “Miracle of Technology” program Sergei Malozemov, the historian of architecture and art Sergei Kuznetsov, urban historian Sergei Nikitin-Rimsky and industrial designer Vladimir Pirozhkov.
The final event of the student week was the “Career Day”. It took place on December 18. For 400 guests, experts held a coach session, shared the secrets of self-presentation and the rules for negotiating with employers.
