The crew of the large landing ship “Nikolay Vilkov” of the Primorsky flotilla of diverse forces of the Pacific Fleet conducted joint tactical and special exercises for loading and unloading troops on an unequipped coast with the Marine Corps units.

The large landing craft “Nikolay Vilkov” loaded the landing in the area of ​​Desantnaya Bay near Vladivostok and, having made the transition, a few hours later completed the task of unloading personnel and equipment on the unequipped coast at the amphibious assault range near Cape Klerk. Loading and unloading was carried out in a point-blank manner in the shortest possible time.

During the training, the crew of the large landing ship performed elements of naval maneuvering under the threat of the use of weapons and electronic warfare by a conventional enemy.

More than 150 marines and more than 30 units of wheeled and tracked military equipment were involved in the training.
