Pilots of the fighter, mixed aviation and mixed helicopter regiments of the Baltic Fleet naval aviation unit flew over the mainland and the sea.

Fighter pilots and bombers have worked out the tactics of conducting air combat with the planes of a conventional enemy. The crews performed a complex of various elements of combat training in the sky, where special attention was paid to piloting techniques with the use of offensive and defensive maneuvers at different altitudes.

At the same time, at the Donskoye airfield in the Kaliningrad region, the crews of the Mi-24 attack helicopters and the Mi-8 and Ka-27 transport helicopters of the Baltic Fleet naval aviation conducted scheduled training flights.

As part of the combat training missions, the crews of the Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters performed takeoff and landing, performed flights in a given square, and also carried out training approaches to attacks against ground targets of a simulated enemy.

Pilots of Ka-27 helicopters also performed takeoff and landing, performed flights to a given square of the sea to reveal the surface situation, and also searched for imaginary enemy submarines in the daytime and at night.

In total, about 20 aircraft of various types were involved in scheduled flights of naval aviation.
