Since the launch of the service, donations have already been transferred by about 17 thousand people.

In a charity service mos.rua new visual tool has appeared – a progress bar. It shows how much money has already been transferred and how much is left to collect in order to achieve a specific goal and help the beneficiaries of charitable programs.

The goals set by the organizations connected to the service are different – for example, to provide support and work with a psychologist for one homeless person, find a new home for animals, support one palliative patient and his family members, and help pay for a rehabilitation course for a child.

The progress bar of fundraising in the charitable service is located on the program cards and on the pages of each organization connected to it.

“The charity service connects citizens who want to help those in need and organizations that support those who need help. Since the launch of the service, donations have already been transferred by about 17 thousand people. The new option shows how much money is left to collect for each program, and helps the user decide who exactly to donate to. In addition, it gives a person the opportunity to feel involved in solving a specific problem and to understand exactly what his contribution will be, ”said Yevgeny Kozlov, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow.

If the month’s goal is achieved, fundraising will continue so that even more trust funds can receive help. In emergency situations, the funds raised can be used differently – for example, for urgent assistance. Detailed information on the distribution of collected funds is published in quarterly reports on the page of each charitable organization in the service.

To make a donation through, you need to select the organization’s charitable program and the amount of assistance. Since October 2021, users of the service have been able to make charitable payments without authorization on the portal.

In addition, you can make a donation in the My Payments service and in the My Moscow mobile application. Users can also set up automatically repeated transfers – this option becomes available after making a payment in the My Payments service.

The charity service was launched in October 2020. The project is supervised by the Moscow Department of Information Technologies together with the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy with the support of the Public Chamber of the city of Moscow. Currently, 59 metropolitan charitable organizations are connected to the service, which provide systematic and targeted assistance to various groups of children and adults with disabilities or in difficult life situations, as well as humanitarian aid and support for shelters for homeless animals. Each organization has a separate page on the portal mos.ruWhere users can find detailed information.

In 2021, the charitable service received several Russian and international awards, including as part of the forum “The best social projects in Russia”, awards CIPR Digital, Big Innovation Awards, German Innovation Award, As well as the All-Russian competition of social advertising of non-profit organizations and social enterprises “Advertising of the Future”.
