You can apply for services on the mos.ru portal.
In the capital, some services for Muscovites with disabilities will be transferred to electronic form. The corresponding decree was signed Sergei Sobyanin…
Electronic applications will be accepted from December 24 on the mos.ru portal in the section “Social support” / “Disabled people”… The following services will become available:
– obtaining technical means of rehabilitation (including support canes and wheelchairs of various modifications) and prosthetic and orthopedic products;
– payment of compensation for independently purchased technical means of rehabilitation and prosthetic and orthopedic products, as well as for their repair and replacement;
– Providing a guide dog, reimbursement of expenses for its maintenance and veterinary services;
– the provision of services for the translation of Russian sign language (sign language translation, tiflosurd translation) or compensation of expenses for these services.
In addition to the fact that Muscovites with disabilities will no longer have to visit social protection institutions to submit an application, the list of required documents will also be reduced. This will happen through inter-agency electronic communication. The submitted documents will be checked online; the applicant will be able to track this process in his personal account on the mos.ru portal.
After considering the applications, technical means of rehabilitation and prosthetic and orthopedic products can be picked up at the nearest territorial center of social services or a resource center for the disabled. There is also the possibility of home delivery. Cash compensation is transferred to the recipient’s bank account.
If necessary, the applicant may be invited to other specialized organizations to receive services.
It is expected that more than 260 thousand Muscovites with disabilities will be able to use the new online services. This year, more than 200 thousand people received technical means of rehabilitation and prosthetic and orthopedic products. About 60 thousand more received compensation for purchasing them independently.
