In the Moscow Region, the commanders of multiple launch rocket systems of the Kantemirovsk division of the Guards Tank Red Banner Army of the Western Military District were trained in firing and fire control on a modern Arterra-VT-3D simulator.

The servicemen conducted training on deploying batteries in battle formation, guiding systems both with the help of computer systems and without the use of technical means. The commanders were tasked with guiding the batteries of the “Tornado-G” and “Uragan” MLRS and destroying the defensive positions of the mock enemy.

After completing the exercise on the simulator, the servicemen began practical actions at the Golovenki training ground using military equipment. Each officer performed the exercises in command of the battery and received an individual assessment.

In total, more than 100 servicemen took part in the classes and over 30 units of weapons and military equipment of the Kantemirovsk division of the ZVO tank association were involved.

The new computerized artillery range is a complex of special software and hardware designed for conducting exercises with artillery and missile units.

The educational and training facility (TCB) provides visualization of a three-dimensional model of a geographic area of ​​the terrain with characteristic elements of landscapes, infrastructure facilities. The screens also display fire weapons, objects of observation and the effects of hitting targets during the conduct of artillery fire.
