Anchor residents of technoparks can count on tax breaks.

The Russian manufacturer of equipment and components for fiber-optic networks JSC Center VOSPI will receive the status of an anchor resident of the Polyus Technopark. The corresponding decree was signed Sergei Sobyanin.

The status of an anchor resident entitles you to tax benefits provided for by the laws of Moscow. The rate of income tax credited to the city budget is reduced to 13.5 percent instead of the standard 17 percent.

JSC “Center VOSPI” specializes in the development and production of equipment and components for fiber-optic local information and computer networks and information transmission systems. The company also develops and manufactures broadband analog fiber-optic transmission lines for microwave signals.

Among the manufactured products are converters (change the characteristics of electrical engineering, for example, the value of the effective voltage), switches (designed to connect several nodes of a computer network), cables, telemetry systems (perform the function of dispatch control and data accounting).

In the Polyus Technopark, the company rents 987 square meters of production space and employs 99 people.

JSC “Center VOSPI” plans to modernize the production line in order to organize a pilot and small-scale production of optical and photonic microcircuits. In addition, there are plans to create a “clean room” for the installation of products.

Next year the company plans to produce small-sized telemetry and navigation antennas, on-board modules for transmitting coordinates and speed, and other products for receiving and transmitting communication signals.

 

The area of ​​the land plot on which the Polyus Technopark is located is 6.7 hectares, the area of ​​industrial premises is 74.7 thousand square meters. Technopark specializes in laser and optical technologies, as well as microelectronics. 42 resident companies work here, employing more than 1.9 thousand people.

JSC Center VOSPI will become the first anchor resident of the Polyus Technopark.
