Servicemen of the command battalion of the Arctic brigade of the army corps of the Northern Fleet held special tactical training sessions. Special attention was paid to the actions of signalmen in the conditions of the Far North and the Arctic. They made a march to the landfill near the village of Alakurtti in the Murmansk region and deployed communication centers there.
During the training, the servicemen worked out establishing communication with correspondents, checked subscriber and connecting lines, and also fulfilled special standards for military equipment.
More than 100 servicemen and 20 pieces of equipment were involved in the classes, including mobile radio stations based on high-traffic trucks. Over the course of several days, they honed the work of field communication centers and improved the interaction of units in conditions as close as possible to combat activities in the Arctic.
Training activities allow signalmen of the Northern Fleet army corps to improve the skills of organizing combat training of command personnel and to practice actions on entrusted equipment in Arctic conditions.
The training also involved the crew of a new P-230T control vehicle with integrated hardware communication functions based on the Tiger vehicle. This technique entered the units of the army corps of the Northern Fleet last year. The car has high cross-country ability, maneuverability and is designed for the prompt transmission of control commands and warning signals.
The complex is capable of operating in difficult terrain and at low air temperatures, which in turn is the main indicator for the operation of this armored vehicle in the harsh conditions of the Arctic. The car is equipped with modern telecommunication equipment and allows you to provide secure telephone, video conferencing and electronic correspondence not only in the parking lot, but also in motion.
