Construction of a section of the Solntsevo – Butovo – Varshavskoe highway from Polyana Street to Varshavskoe Highway is planned to begin in 2022. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Urban Development Policy and Construction Andrey Bochkarev

“Now, within the framework of the project for the construction of a section of the Solntsevo – Butovo – Varshavskoe highway from Polyana street to Varshavskoe highway, design and survey work is continuing. It is planned to complete them by the end of the summer of next year, and in the fourth quarter of 2022 – to start construction, ”he said.

To date, out of five sections of the route, two have been commissioned, two more are under construction and one is being designed. “It is planned to fully complete the implementation of this large-scale project in 2026,” added Andrei Bochkarev.

As the head specified Moscow City Construction Department Rafik Zagrutdinov, the total length of roads to be built on the highway from Borovskoye to Varshavskoye shosse is 88.2 kilometers.

“At present, a section is being built from Borovskoye to Kievskoye highway. Completion of construction under the contract – December 2023. Also, work is underway from TPU “Stolbovo” to Polyany Street, completion of construction under the contract – September 2024, “he explained.

The Solntsevo – Butovo – Varshavskoe highway runs from Borovskoe to Kievskoe highway, then through Kaluzhskoe to Varshavskoe. It connects four highways and the developing regions of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas.
