The exhibition “At the Edge of a Break” of the House of Officers of the Central Military District has opened in Irbit. The exhibition project is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the battle of the Soviet people against the Nazi invaders for Moscow during the Great Patriotic War. It will be possible to get acquainted with the exhibits until January 31, 2021 at the Irbit Historical and Ethnographic Museum.

Guests will be able to see about 30 exhibits stored in the funds of the Museum “Military Glory of the Urals”, including the Battle Banner of the 375th Infantry Division, formed from the residents of the city of Irbit. In addition, visitors to the exhibition will be able to see an army flask, a pistol holster, as well as a watch of a Soviet soldier on a chain, a tanker’s helmet, a commander’s field bag and a medical bag.

After the demonstration of the exhibition in the city of Irbit, the organizers plan to show it to the residents of the settlements that are part of the Irbit region.

The 375th Ural Kharkiv-Bucharest Red Banner Rifle Division is a compound of the Armed Forces of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War. Formed in the Sverdlovsk region in August – September 1941. The servicemen of the division took part in the battle for Moscow, Kalinin, Rzhev, as well as in the battles near Kursk, liberating Kharkov, Belgorod, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
