In Kaliningrad, under the leadership of the commander of the Baltic Fleet, Vice-Admiral Viktor Liina, an operational mobilization meeting with leading officials of the fleet began.

More than 100 servicemen of the command staff of formations and formations of the fleet will improve their professional skills during three days during training sessions in the main areas of combat training.

In addition to demonstration classes on planned military topics, the commanders of large formations and formations will be given classes on special topics that are relevant and require special attention at the present time.

In particular, several dozen educational and methodological events are planned for the participants of the gathering. Among them – round tables, seminars, demonstration of thematic educational films, slides and photographs on the range of issues of military security in the area of ​​responsibility of the Baltic Fleet.

In addition, for the first time, within the framework of the operational mobilization training session with the command staff of the Baltic Fleet, a command and staff war game (KSHVI) will be held.

“This method of operational training will allow officers to work out combat training tasks, being in the role of officials of a conditional grouping of forces formed in a certain operational direction,” said Vice Admiral Viktor Liina, Commander of the Baltic Fleet.

During the gathering, demonstration classes will be held on bringing subunits to the highest degree of combat readiness, repelling attacks by conditional illegal armed formations on naval facilities.

Also, servicemen of the command staff of the fleet will take part in practical exercises in accordance with the approved plan.

To acquaint the participants of the gathering with modern samples of military equipment in service with military units and subdivisions of the Baltic Fleet, an exhibition of samples of military equipment, weapons and special means will be deployed on the territory of the professional and technical commission of the Baltic Fleet.
