Artists of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army named after A. Aleksandrov gave a concert in the House of Culture “Adler” in Sochi.

The solemn performance of the ensemble was timed to the 40th anniversary of the formation of the anti-aircraft missile formation of the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Southern Military District (YuVO), stationed in the resort city.

During the concert program, consisting of more than 20 pieces, the legendary Alexandrov Ensemble performed well-known songs from the period of the Great Patriotic War: “Time to go, road”, “Song of the front-line driver”, “Chamomile fields”, “Serve Russia”, “Darkie”, “Katyusha”, as well as modern vocal compositions.

The concert was attended by servicemen of the compound with their families, representatives of the administration, veteran and public organizations of the city, as well as other law enforcement agencies.

The event was held in strict compliance with measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

A day earlier, the artists of the Academic Ensemble in the club of the military camp of the compound also held a concert for all personnel of the anti-aircraft missile, radio engineering and track railway units of the Southern Military District.
