Youth soldiers from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, who are the winners of the military-sports games “Arctic-2021”, visited the naval base of the Northern Fleet in the Murmansk region. In total, 11 schoolchildren of 9-11 grades were awarded a unique trip.

During the trip, the guys visited Murmansk, Polyarny and Severomorsk. For them, excursions were organized to the large landing ship “Ivan Gren”, the large anti-submarine ship “Severomorsk”, the diesel submarine “Kaluga”, as well as to the museum of the submarine K-21, the museum of military glory of the Red Banner Kola flotilla. In addition, the Yunarmeys visited the naval base in the city of Polyarny, where they got acquainted with the conditions of life and the peculiarities of service in the navy. Another point visited by the schoolchildren was the memorial to the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic during the Great Patriotic War, located in the city of Murmansk.

The commander of the Kola flotilla of various forces of the Northern Fleet, Rear Admiral Eduard Mikhailov, met with the Young Army soldiers. He talked with young patriots, gave them parting words for the future and presented them with gifts.

Participants of the all-Russian movement from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, when visiting the Arctic Circle, did not disregard the issue of interaction with comrades from the Murmansk Region. The schoolchildren visited the Youth Army House in the city of Polyarny, where they talked with the Murmansk youth army, and then exchanged postcards with wishes on the eve of the upcoming New Year.

The trip ended with a visit to the capital of Russia. The guys walked around Red Square and the Alexander Garden, after which they witnessed the changing of the Guard of Honor at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
