A month-long gathering with grenade launchers of formations and military units of the army corps and marines of the Baltic Fleet comes to an end with large-scale live firings at several ranges in the Kaliningrad region.

During combat training events, special attention was paid to firing AGS-17 automatic grenade launchers from closed and semi-closed firing positions at unobserved targets located behind the natural folds of the terrain – in hollows, ravines – at distances of up to 1.5 thousand meters.

During combat training events, fire was fired at static and dynamic targets imitating enemy tanks and lightly armored vehicles. Half of the shooting took place at night.

During the gathering, the servicemen took part in several dozen tactical exercises, during which they practically studied various methods of movement on the battlefield, depending on the terrain and the intensity of enemy fire, improved the skills of choosing, equipping and masking positions, determining the range to targets in the Baltic conditions. weather, firing at emerging and moving targets, shooting adjustments. During live firing in the daytime and at night, the servicemen hit about 600 targets, using up more than 1000 grenade launcher rounds.

Combat training events started in early December. More than 200 servicemen from military units and formations of the Baltic Fleet were involved in them.
